Just curious whether you turn to MTM shirtmakers or RTW shirts when you're looking for unusual fabrics. I've often heard people say that you need to go MTM to get unusual fabrics, but my experience is that MTM shirting are mostly in a classical and conservative palettes, just with a tremendous depth of selection, whereas RTW makers often do quite unusual one-off runs each season.

What do you think?

the idea that there would be more selection at a RTW shop than a MTM or Bespoke shop seems strange to me. I have only been in a handful of shirtmaker's shops, but the ones I have seen have way more stuff than your typical Brooks Brothers or Nordstroms. If you are looking for truly crazy stuff, just go to a fabric store and take the stuff to your shirtmaker.
