Hi everyone, I was hoping you guys could critique the fit of my MTM jacket. I'm fairly statisfied with it, but hoping to fine tune the fit for additional orders. Thanks!

nothing major, though the back does hang kind of strangely, maybe the cut of the jacket. The sleeves could be a teeeeeny bit longer IMHO, but some might disagree. I personally think the sleeves are a bit too narrow for that type of fabric and for your physique.. The fabric is heavy looking like an overcoat and narrow sleeves are an odd choice, plus your arms look 3 feet (1 meter) long in it.

Sleeves also look a bit baggy to me. And no offense, seriously, but dear lord do I hate this jacket.

I had the sleeves narrowed afterwards because I thought they were a little large. I'm still wondering about the chest, waist, and shoulders. There's a bit of a ripple near the waist and am wondering if that's the chest pulling or if I need a bit more waist suppression.

I also designed the jacket, so all hate goes to me, not the tailor. =p

It has to be said that it is a primitive design and is somewhat too full in the upper back yet pulling in the front. I would stick to the day job and perhaps seek a tailors advice to retrieve something from this garment.

I didn't design the cut, I meant, the features thereof, the patches, pockets, etc.

That ripple is from your right shoulder being lower than your left.

too big in the shoulders, the back needs to be shortened, sleeve pitch is off

Buttons are too high; it can't be right that the top one is nearly at nipple level. Are you a very tall man?

Yes, it was online MTM, so I'm trying to fine tune it. I'm about 5'10", so not too tall.

Yup. Realise it's not possible to get it perfect the first time and am planning to order again in the summer for fall delivery. My next jacket will be less 'busy' than the one above with the collar and patches. Lovely people to work with, tbh, so that's why I'm going to order again.
