Excuse me for asking such a simple question, but what is MTM made to make? How do I do this is there certain stores that do this or a certain website? I'm looking at getting slim fitted dress shirts and don't really know where to start. A lot of people on here suggested T.M. Lewin, is this made to make? If so are they the best at it and any other suggestions of where I can do this?

Made to Measure, meaning the shirt is constructed to your own measurements. For your local retailers some higher end fashion places may do this, there are a lot of online sources too. Like mytailor, nialma, etc. Do a quick search and you'll find a lot of hits.

Post where you live and anyone who lives near you can recommend local places if there are any.

Made to measure.

They take their standard patern (which varies by the tailor) and adjust it in certain areas to match you. Different starting patterns work better with different body types. The alternatives are RTW (ready to wear) which are hanging in the shop when you get there and adjusted in a selected number of ways if you wish. The final option is bespoke, for which a pattern is cut specifically for you, though that tend to apply more to suits than shirts.

I live in Buffalo New York, not exactly the fashion capital of the world
Well what are the best places to order your Made to measure shirt from online? I heard Paper Cloth is good?

As aavlee mentioned Mytailor & Nialma are all good. Some sites offer free test shirts. Good luck!
