Download Open Office instead. It is free and does everything MS Office does.

If I see an OpenOffice icon on anyone's computer, I assume they are poor.

Get some student to set you up with it. Lots of unis have programs to give it to students for free, and all students can get it from MS for something around $33 last I checked.

You assume they are poor and then suggest finding a student to help cheap out on office? Whenever I see someone posting on a forum asking how to get common software for free, I assume they are stupid.

My workplace has a program where they give it to us personal copies for $11 (the premium professional version)

Srzly, you will NOT find a link no matter how hard you search, but using a torrent is easy enough for a trained monkey to do.

How to use a torrent:

Alternatively, use openoffice - MS Office sucks since they changed everything around a few years ago anyways.

Why are you snooping on someone else's computer? I would never let anyone else use my comp. Ever.

I am the Office expert.

1) Use MS Office, not Open Office.
2) Use MS Office 2003.
3) Torrent that ****.

Edit: If you are not a whiz with computers, use Office 2007.

Isnt there anything non-torrent? I remember I downloaded Office 2007 on my computer few years back via some rapidshare links.

This time my brother needs it though.

Why are you averse to paying for it?

Use 2010 or 2007.

2003 is dying off so you might as well get used to the new ****. My employer and at least 2 of our direct competitors are 2007...my former employer should be 2007 by now...I know several if the ibanks are rolling out 2k10 soon (from 2003, skipping 2007).

I hated it at first but I eventually got used to it and I will say it is better. I still think the ribbon is ******* marsupialed but I can use it just fine and I prefer some of the new keyboard shortcut paths (not that they don't still have the 2003 shortcuts enabled).

Of course this is excel only...if you want to use word...go ahead and use open office or whatever you want. If you are doing complicated enough stuff in word that you need the real thing--you should already own that ****.

On a forum talking about class and style? Where you can spend $1000 on a shoe but not $50 on software? If you can't afford Office then get OpenOffice. I pirate movies and music like it's going to run out of supply, but I still pay money for software, music, or movies I use a lot.
