GQ and Mr. Porter Launch New Venture

GQ has teamed with popular menswear retailer Mr. Porter for GQ Selects, a multichannel initiative where the retailer and the magazine cross promote selected products. It’s hard to tell if this collaboration is good or bad – Mr. Porter’s bland presentation yet surprisingly good product selection seems somewhat incompatible with GQ’s “timeless”/”investment piece” style. Before working with Mr. Porter, GQ spent several months working with Park & Bond (ouch) and Nordstrom.

    All About Cloth

Because StyleForum is all about showing you what’s out there in fashion world, and because StyleForum posters have, in general, pretty good taste, this thread is a great resource to learn about cloth for use in bespoke suiting. Some members have lots of cloth, and some members only a few yards, but even for the cloth-less this thread is a great educational resource.

    All About Attachment

Another day, another brand. This thread is all about Attachment, the edgy Japanese streetwear brand. Think Undercover with a darker palette and more tailoring. Read all about it.
