DC is considered one of the major cities in the US. Of all the major cities I can think of, it has by far the shittiest food. You have to really reach down to some pathetic major cities to find food as bad, like Pittsburgh, Dallas, or Detroit. Chicago, NY, SF Bay Area, LA, Boston, Miami, etc etc. ****, even PNW probably beats it. There is not a single good place to get the following: Pizza Mexican Chinese Indian Sushi/Japanese If you know of a place, reply with the name. The only thing DC does well is crappy overpriced fusion and hamburgers. Thus my comment of it being overpriced. Seriously though, if you like fine dining (or expensive fusion), "upscale" chains like Maggiano, American food, Steaks, you will be happy here. Seafood is pretty good. Then again the preceding sentence also describes a shithole like Tallahassee
