Die Another Day. Was at a mate's house last night, watched up until the opening credits ... then decided to go home and sleep rather than watch the rest.

Wasn't that the one with Halle Berry? [IMG]

Star Wars. Watching it on Spike right now. I forgot how badly acted and written this movie really was. With the exception of Han Solo and Darth Vader, I forgot how disagreeable every character in it is. Han shot first? Too bad it wasn't George Lucas that he hit.

I admit it, I love these sorts of crap movies. They are my guilty pleasure. I loved this movie in all its cheesy-ness.

Please explain to me why Ratatouille is so great. Was it the plot device of a human being controlled by pulling on his hair? The unoriginal story? Please let me know.

The first one, may be, even though I don't see it as such.

    The whole series, no.

And I thought Ratatouille was alright, albeit not as good as Shrek or March of the Penguins. Then again, I can't claim to be a cinema expert.

Empire Strikes back was a thousand times better, imo.

I agree. Empire is the better movie, but in a historical context the first was important.

I like Star Wars (A New Hope or whatever the stupid title is supposed to be now) the best of all six films. It's the only one that actually stands alone and can be watched as an individual movie.

Plus, I just remember how cool it was to see it for the very first time on the big screen when it came out - I'd never seen anything like it before.

Gladiator. What a bunch of corny cliched outdated crap. The Oscars aren't exactly the most prestigious awards, but for Gladiator to even get nominated let alone an award amazed me at the time.

The Prestige. This one really insults your intelligence. David Bowie? Really?
