Son of a gun, I just literally wrote up a HUGE description only to press cancel.

http://www.amazon.com/Movado-604230...1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331816825&sr=8-1-fkmr0

The watch is here for reference. I know it's the same because Amazon has "You purchased this item on October 23, 2006."

This is not a 2011 model, not sure what they are saying about that. I have had the battery changed (NOT by Movado - they wanted around $350 dollars to get the battery changed). I talked to a friend who was in the jewelry biz for awhile and he says that's just a huge rip. It's Quartz movement!

I posted a bunch of pictures for reference - am happy to post more.

Anti-sales pitch: Dude, this watch is very, very thin. I posted that picture up w/ it on my wrist as reference and I have small wrists and am very small in general. I can't see anyone wearing this with a t-shirt or a short sleeve shirt.

Sales pitch: I've gotten tons of compliments on it when I wear dress shirts.

I put the price at $550 - Amazon's price - knowing full well I'm not getting that with a 6 year old Used watch but if I don't get a decent enough offer, I don't mind keeping it for sentimental value.

Feel free to PM me! Might put it on eBay in the future. I'm fascinated by those old vintage 1950's watches at MattSinger.net and really want to get something like that.

Oh yeah, I have the case lying around somewhere w/ the little pamphlets it came with and stuff
