Just switched out my Sidi B-2s for some Daytona Travel Star GTXs. Much more comfortable and less racer looking.

I bought a Nelson before I bought a Belstaff just to see if waxed cotton worked well in Florida downpours. It's actually a MUCH better functioning jacket than the Roadmaster I got.

As far as size goes, I bought a large and it was sized more like an xl or xxl

If I remember the measurements on it, I swear it was 25" or 26" pit to pit.

i tend to wear jeans when tooling around, so i'm no gear nazi, but don't fool yourself into thinking abrasion resistance isn't a big deal around the city. denim has essentially no abrasion resistance on pavement- remember when you were a little kid and you fell on grass and ripped your jeans? yeah, imagine falling on asphalt at 45mph. the denim instantaneously degrades. seen it. not pretty.

depending on the bike i'm riding (kawasaki zx-6r or suzuki dr-z400) and how hard i'm going i wear some combination of:

- dainese laguna seca jacket
- firstgear kilimanjaro textile jacket
- mx jersey
(need to get a roost protector)
- jeans
- klim (mojave?) textile pants
- full leathers
- oxtar tcs boots
- oxtar tcx pro boots
- various gloves (4 pair to choose from?)
- velmar or some ds helmet
