1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

This is stunning. I'm not usually a huge fan of 3/4 or full fairings but yours looks perfect on the bike.

i've yet to play around with a BMW. Probably because they still pull a premium even when they are 35-40 yars old

That Bimmer is slick. Wish the fairing was like 3" lower but it's still nice. Will look great with the finished tail

Well, a 1949 Vincent 1000cc is for sale informally by a friend of a friend..
Naturally its not going to be cheap.. Already received pictures but it's waaaaaay to much for my budget, collectors only I guess

Don't know, the friend was talking about 100k.. However, he's not the specialist, his father is (former gp2 rider from the 70s with several original race spec Norton manx's) if you or anyone here is seriously interested I can put them through directly..

I like the lock on the tool tray. My tray fell out one day while riding home from work and it was hell finding everything that I had stashed in there.

We just got a warm weather spurt. I was wearing shorts in late February last year so if sunset is late enough I might start riding in again soon.

You could get a Vinago (Virago made into a Vincent replica).

Or how about a Vircent? A Vincent made into a Virago replica.

The Vinago is in the collection that I manage. It's a very nice bike. Greg Haggeman did a very good job on it.

I'm surprised people haven't converted more KTM RC8s into streetfighters. Trellis frame, high bee stinger tail, pretty looking swingarm and compact instrumentation should have made it great choice.
