Ok I couldn't hold it in anymore: that's all I can stands I can't stands no more! This whole diatribe is full of shit. Not that it didn't happen but the author's conclusions are just bullshit. Advice like this is what gets people hurt because they are in over their head
Not directly but you did say this
"This" being to not start off on a supersport... If you want to get semantic, sure, the article as about 600s and not 1000s but both are pretty stupid bikes to start on
You also played the whole "it worked out fine for me" card
And now you are writing essays to backpedal
Bottom line, someone w/no experience on a motorcycle has no business on a 600/1000. A couple of months on a 250-500 won't kill you and taking your time to actually learn how to ride instead of just surviving is a good thing
Have you tried sartso ? I find them to be very close to my 501 levi's.
http://www.sartso.com/index.php/currentrange/mens/raw-blue-stretch or http://www.sartso.com/index.php/currentrange/mens/dark-grey
Their gear looks good, but when you try to order they only have 3 or 4 sizes of everything, at the more extreme ends of the spectrum (very large, very small). That and the 30% or so discount on everything gives the impression they're going under and selling off old stock. Looks to be a good buy if they have your size.
Yea this and that. Plus their black jeans don't look too great.
Spent a little bit of time mocking this up today...
Here're the Deth killers jeans:
That rear shock reservoir doe.
Why denim on the bike and not just leathers? Don't want to change when you get somewhere or walk around in bike leather?
Another wierd yet interesting bike
Looks good in picture but i wouldnt ride a bike that has its exhaust so close to my leg
Is that the front end of 600 CBR RR ? Where does that dragster end comes from ?
Those are Ohlins shocks.
This picture is the motorcycle epitomy of hipster.
