How do they deal with kevlar's UV degradation?

without covering it with something else, you can't have raw kevlar exposed to the sun or it will lose its qualities.

This is the only pic I have of the jacket. There are better pics on their website. I've used this jacket for a few years and there are no signs of wear or degradation.

I've worn and tested (not crash tested) this one. Not as cool as mesh but a lot cooler than leather: Dainese Horizon (yes I am a brand whore)

Some kind of stretchy textile that Dainese calls d-stone. Kind of hard to describe it. Dainese says it's more abrasion resistant than leather and they wouldn't lie, right? Right?

Nah. It's stiff yet stretchy...as I said hard to describe. Snug fit though. I would guess it moves more air than a fully perforated leather jacket but it sure as hell doesn't weigh as much as leather.

I looked on Revzilla, the product description says the mesh is made of high-tenacity twisted nylon.

Honda went and snuck the CBR500 into their lineup in 3 formats: sport, naked and moto, all available with ABS for under $6k. Well played Honda.

The 1098's didn't come with a dry clutch did they?

Yes. The Panigale and the 848s have wet clutches

sidenote: Was in Georgetown on Tuesday and saw 2 guys: one on a Diavel Dark and the other on a Panigale Tricolore. The Diavel looked and sounded sooo evil. I got insanely jealous so my g/f patted my shoulders in sympathy. I told her she should buy me a Ducati for my birthday.

    She stopped patting my shoulders
