Beautiful Multistrada and scenery. I'm jealous; looks like you had a great ride.

Any recommendations for cold riding gloves. I'd like to exhaust my options with the coldest wearing gloves prior to trying heated grips or powered gloves.

Love that ducati, John. I've been meaning to check out the hill country, so hopefully I can make it out there once school is out after next week. Knowing Texas its either going to be a nice 70 degrees or bone chillingly cold.

Do the heated grips - it is inexpensive and well worth it.

And man, do I miss my Multistrada...

I have lined, Elk-skin Gauntlets. I made it about 30 minutes in 40 F weather before my hands started going numb.

Thanks. If you do make it out this way let me know and maybe we can get together for a ride. Forecast for next week is looking nice.

I'll definitely let you know. My Dad plans on coming along so we can turn it into a mini rally.

Had to go to the dentist this morning and thus went on what will probably be my last real ride this year (besides getting home tonight and then eventually limping it into storage).

Gloves weren't cutting it on my brief spin on saturday so I tried taking the liners out of my cycling lobster mitts and stuffing my summer moto gloves inside (since the lobster mitts probably don't offer much protection). Was wearing long underwear bottoms, a dress shirt and wool sweater, wool socks, and had the fleece liner in my jacket. Got back into the office an hour ago and I am still shivering.

Took my Crossbones on a quick 45 mile hike Sunday. Hope to get at least one or two more rides in before Christmas. Sportie and Scrambler have been winterized and connected to battery tender though, so no action for them until March I am sure. I would bet some of those Texas boys will ride right through the new year, am I right?

PSA:
Bike Bandit has $100 gift cards for $75 today only
http://www.bikebandit.com/bikebandi...850&SID=38eP0kNCEeKDzfJvjwbRWg95L_swCL3_0_0_0

Not sure how good of a deal it is (since bike bandit may not have the best prices). I am considering it since I really should buy new tires this season (I don't really know how to tell when they are too old since they aren't actually worn out yet, but I think I need them).

Good if you know you need to buy something close to $100

Do any of you guys have a good method of getting dead bugs off your leather jacket? I've tried using a rag with warm water to get them off and then using a leather conditioner bar once it dries, but some of these bugs are really stuck on.

I haven't ridden it yet (I've got a broken left thumb) but I picked this up in October.
