So I just received my new Schott jacket. I've owned other leather jackets, but not a motorcycle jacket. Schott says the sleeves are meant to extend 2 or more inches past the wrist, to compensate for the riding stance, but making the jacket look poorly-fitted if you wear it for any other purpose. I don't ride. I knew it was a motorcycle jacket, but it had a sleek look that is fine for street wear, and lots of guys who had reviewed it said they didn't ride, either. None had mentioned an issue with the long sleeves. The jacket fits fine otherwise, and looks good. My options are to either return the jacket for a different style, or roll the sleeves up. They are zippered, and fold back easily when unzipped. The last option would be to wear it with the sleeves at their intended location, namely down nearly to my knuckles. Anyone else wearing a motorcycle jacket this way? Thanks.
