Actor:
Sean Connery without doubt.Even when he is playing a Russian he still has a Scottish accent.

Move: The Blair Witch Project (I'm still laughing).

Actress: Scarlett Johansson (though she is quite beautiful)

agree. and I was really looking forward to liking it. horrible.

actor (actress): Julia Roberts. not attractive, not very talented...other than a good turn in Pretty Woman has failed to show why she gets paid so much.

My wife and I were also really looking forward to it, given all of the hype. We were both incredibly dissapointed. Brilliant marketing, however.

The English Patient was 3 hours of hell.

This is now the second time I've heard Philedelphia is overated. I thought it was good.

I'll reserve judgement on Affleck until I see his latest movie, but as of yet he's taken fluff roles in horrendous movies for the most part.

I totally agree on Julia Roberts. I also strongly dislike Johansson's acting.

I've never liked John Malkovich, I think I just hate his voice. I've never understood this notion that he's an incredible actor, I don't get it.

As for comedy, I think Owen/Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn, and Ben Stiller are spectacularly overrated. They fail miserably in the frat boy humor they're always trying to portray, and they're all just awful. That comedy brat pack is something I don't understand, but almost everyone thinks I'm crazy for disliking them.

Cameron Diaz... she's nice to look at, but the acting is revolting.

I thought Philadelphia was a good, but not great movie, with one outstanding scene (the opera scene). Also, call me a sap, but the home movies at the end (presumably showing Tom Hank's character as a child) always get to me, especially since I've become a father. They're right up there with, "hey, Dad, do you wanna have a catch?" at the end of Field of Dreams.

Overrated movie: Tie between all the Best Picture Oscar winners of the past twenty years. Can't think of a really good one among them.

Overrated actor: Al Pacino. Esquire magazine once described his acting method as "bellowing his lines at the top of his lungs," and I haven't been able to look at him the same way since.

Overrated:Katie Couric

Not funny: Adam Sandler, Though I did like him in Punch Drunk Love.

I also second the Julia Roberts, I liked her in Ocean's Eleven, but with that cast they could have put Katie Couric in there and I would have liked it......
