Just wondering what are the many different ways to wear a scarf both intricately yet stylishly? I've seen the simple ways.....they are nice, but I also see the intricate, 2-3 "layered" ways which IMO gives a more sophisticated look!

Try it as a loincloth.

You're overthinking it.

Wear a scarf only when you wear a coat, hat, and gloves. There is no such thing as an intricate way to fend off cold. There is only a functional way. Wear your scarf so as to protect your neck from cold.

I think no matter how you wear your scarf, so far as it is on your neck and meant to fend off cold, it will be nice. Juts as the poster before said there is only one way to fend off cold and it's the functional way.

I am so nitpicky that I just throw one side over my shoulder and the let other lay flat.

I like to show off my shirt and tie...

I see people wearing scarves even when it's not cold haha. Thought this would be appropriate to ask in a "style" forum

Is it manly to wrap a neckscarf around your years (I don't own a hat at the moment) to keep warm? I only see women do it, esp. Eastern European and some Japanese/Korean women .
