What would you say is the most elegant color and how do you wear it?

I think brown is the most elegant color, but I only really wear it on my belts and shoes. Do I need a brown sport coat or suit?

Uh kinda vague question. For shoes dark browns, blacks are considered elegant. As what I generally consider the most elegant would be.. dark purple. It's association with nobility already speaks for itself

For shoes, wallets, and belt, I would vote for cognac. For suits, I would vote for midnight blue. For shirts, it would be a toss up between light blue and white -- but the weave of the material is also important. And for ties, it would be dark purple grenadine. And pocket squares? White silk, always.

While white and light blue are obviously more versatile, a very light lavender is the most elegant color for a shirt imo.

Other than that dark blue is great for suits and sport coats. Even like it better for overcoats than charcoal and black. Darker tan camel/cashmere is a close second though (the lighter stuff not so much).
