So, since the song thread is getting feedback, what do you guys think is the most disturbing movie you have ever seen.

Please do not say any of the saws. They over did it and because of that didnt even make me quiver because of how fake it was.

Most gruesome, grotesque, bloody, gorey.

Ive heard stuff about Henry: portrait of a serial killer, and eraser head however i still have to see them. On my to do list.

Ill post mine in a bit so we can get some conversations going first.

Cannibal Holocaust. The real/mondo footage of animals being killed was repulsive. The rest of the movie is no walk in the park either.

I guess Requiem for a Dream, but that's not due to blood/gore.

By far the "Piquipskee Tapes" and I definitely spelled that wrong.

"Pink Flamingos"--a horrid, horrid John Waters gem. Seeing the "actress" eat real, fresh poodle shite at the end gave me persistent nightmares.

"Hostel" for all its corn was pretty twisted; ditto for "Hostel 2"--both way more distrubing than the "Saw" series which has become a self-parody with each new sequel.

Agree on "Pearl Harbor"--deeply disturbing in its contrived bs attempts at depth. Michael Bay is among the shittiest American directors of all time and has a claim to having created the most superfluous crap of anyone in Hollywood, which is a high bar.

The star of Cannibal Holocaust was the instructor of my screenwriting class. Anyone want his number?
