Currently it is this performance of "You Don't Know Me" from The Band. IIRC, this was their '83 or '84 tour in Japan. Anyways, Richard Manuel gives one of the most haunting vocal performances of his career. That is saying a lot considering the guy's nickname is "The White Ray Charles." There aren't many singers alive or dead who can match Manuel's heartbreaking cadence, tone, just everything.
