I almost can't believe that it hasn't been posted yet:

STUNNING.

Every fuckin' thing is now described as "Stunning!" And most of it, I assure you, is nowhere near "stunning". Noticeable? Sure. Interesting? Maybe. Worthy of note? Possibly. Stunning? Almost never.

And really, who wants to actually "STUN!" people whose line of sight you just happen to occupy? Ok, ok, maybe truly stunning the sartorial groupies into submission is a strategy for some, but I worry about what you're wearing to accomplish it.

The phrase I most dislike is "no international shipping" in conjunction with an item I really want.

This is also not in the intended spirit of the thread, but I dislike the presumptuous ebay phrase "You are bidding on...". I'm viewing the listing, not bidding.

Yeah, that's what I mean. A baller look would be equated to "This look has a lot of subtle to obvious displays of wealth." Can't type that out every time..

I am surprised that this thread has gone this far without my pet peeve having surfaced: "commission," e.g., "When Chan's tour visits next month, I am going to commission an 18-ounce P&H Thornproof tweed hacking jacket." It's always seemed like a very pompous and pretentious way of saying "order."
