Is there a possibility that the Cheviot 2 would be able to be made with Dainite?
Also happy to be included with Whiskey or Burgundy Skyes as long as with Dainite.

    Heck yes!

I still don't understand why they charge so much for a shell Galway ($2500+ USD) and aren't willing to do the full boot in shell! That being said, I am quite interested :-D

@morsepoint Do you think it’s absolutely out of the question that C&J will make the Lindrick boot? It would be fantastic if you could persuade them to make one last round (or two).

Personally, I think the Skye and the Islay are really nice boots, but they’re also quite similar to other brands’ wing tip boots. That broguing on the side of the shaft is what sets the Lindrick apart and makes it special. At least to me. So it would be great if there was an opportunity for a last Lindrick MTO.

They can’t just say no without a warning, can they? :)

And if they need more convincing, I feel the Lindrick is still very much a C&J boot. If someone tells me “I like your boots, what brand are they?” I wouldn’t say they’re RL, I would say “Oh, thanks, they’re Crockett & Jones, I love their boots and shoes”.

The upper part around the ankle of Galway boot is made of contrast leather even in shell and the purpose of it is wearers comfort as it is fully unlined upper part, it fits closely and is very comfortable. Being made of full shell it would be very stiff yet not as comfortable.

Makes sense...still though, less shell, more than twice the price. But, again I get it the whole exclusivity thing. Don’t get me wrong I’m not mad at them; if they can get folks to pay it, more power to them. I like capitalism..lol

Not Harvard 2 in whiskey. This Style is only available to CJ own stores. I can only get hold of standard Harvard unlined last 314 in dark brown cordovan
