Morning trousers

Hi there,

Does anybody know of a good, reasonably priced, online retailer for striped, checked and plaid trousers suitable for wear with a stroller?

I need a long rise and the ones over at Pakeman don't really appeal to me.

E-bay seems to be mostly filled with nasty poly blend things.

I suggest you might consider bespoke. J&J Minnis have nice formal trousering:

Just shop around for a decent tailor who will make a pair of trousers for you. I would suggest proper brace trousers with a fish mouth back and buckle. Here in Sydney Sam Disano quoted me a price of around $185 AUD.

Although Sator's advice is good (of course...) should you prefer to go of-the-peg you might also try Ede & Ravenscroft. I know they do a full range of morning dress and may sell on-line.

Here in the UK, short morning coats/strollers and striped trousers are often worn by Freemasons and consequently both Masonic outfitters and the more traditional general tailors/outfitters tend to stock them. Here is an example:
