Either I'm really dense or the link is coming up wrong - what's the story? I don't get it.

The background of the photo is a receipt, which shows the purchaser's credit card number in plain view.

With that said, I would like to purchase your entire inventory; just reference the picture for my payment info.

Look under the green brillo pad the Rolex is sitting on in the picture. On the receipt is the dude's Visa number which if he is smart is already cancelled. He already relisted the item without that picture in the listing.

Dang... Its already over limit. Man you guys are quick.

Its kinda scary how people with that level of intelligence are awarded credit lines.

I was once home and received a cold call from a credit card company and realizing that it was a phone solicitation started talking like a half wit, and it was clear on the phone that I was not 100% (closer to 40% really) and the guy asked for my wife and I said in a loud voice that "My MOMMY isnt here now", and the guy said thats ok, he can speak to me as well and I said that my Mommy wouldnt let me have a card and would get angry at me and he had no problem with trying to get me a credit card even though on the phone I was clearly not competent.

I guess he found someone after all...

The bad news for that guy is that that picture (and that listing) is now all over the net - probably cached a few times by google, if nothing else. In order to be *really* safe about this, he is going to have to cancel that Visa card (hopefully, he already has.) And he'll probably want to start conducting all Ebay transactions from a generic email account and a P.O Box. Otherwise, it would be child's play to rack up big purchases on his tab (reminds me of those really funny t.v. ads.)

And this guy has the means to buy expensive watches, own a summer home (read his profile) and acquire a collection of antique clocks. Just goes to show that it doesn't take brains to make money, and even less to spend it (both of which I've always contended to be true.)

Don't you also need the owners full name in order to use the card? I dont remember it being on the receipt, and I cant get the image to appear anymore.

Yeah, you do need the name and the billing address to use the card.  Many online stores also require the three-digit number on the back of the card.

    Still, the guy's a moron.

Hey guys, it was me that listed the watch. It was an honest and careless mistake, still I don't appreciate the "moron" and "idiot" comments. Thanks to the members who refrained from making such tasteless comments.

Just one thing though, the seller is located in Chicago IL, whereas you are in NY, NY as it says above.
