I am ready for a new briefcase. As background, I'm an attorney, so it has to look at least decent. I'm a big fan of canvas, and I have a Filson 257. I like it, but it's too big for daily use for me. I also find the top flap a little cumbersome. It's not a dealbreaker, but I'd rather not have an extra step to get in and out of the briefcase.
I was eyeing Frost River bags when I got the Filson a few years ago, and my heart still wants a Frost River Single Briefcase. My only hesitation is that the website is super limited on pictures, and I can't find other pictures (except for a few on japanese amazon) or a single review anywhere on the internet.
I know folks rave about Frost River in general, but has anyone had experience with their briefcases? Any other brands to look at for something comparable? The obvious other option would be a Filson 256, which I'm not going to get because I have the 257.
