1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    new conspiracy theory:
he (or the scientologists) hired those guys to victimize him, making him appear more sympathetic to fans who are on the fence about his recent antics.

They got it all wrong... Haven't they seen Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom? To rescue your favorite hero from the mind-control of the cultists, you have to touch him with FIRE, not squirt him with water. Idiots...

Anyways, the thugee were cooler than scientologists any day.

You're right. If they weren't hired, that took some serious self-control.

He should have decked the a$$hole. I'm no Tom Cruise fan but these morons that think they can just harass anyone they damn well please should be put in their place.

I think he blew it when he got all sanctimonious about it afterwards, saying things like "I try to make people feel good, in whatever I do, and it's sad that there are people like that."

Give me a break - you're not Mother Teresa and it was a practical joke. No need to get high on your horse.
