Hello guys,

Am wondering, what do you guys think of monk strap shoes as a street wear?

Taken from google, from Ed Et Al.

Anyway i am considering getting a monk strap for casual purposes, probably similar to the one from the above image.
But before i actually go ahead and spend about 200 bucks on the shoe, i would like to hear some of your opinions. My current shoe, a sperry boatshoe which have been serving me for the past 3, going to 4 years is about to break. So i am thinking of getting a new casual shoe.

"My current shoe" suggests that you only have the one pair.

They are fine in some circumstances although those look overly pointed - fashion though that is. They will not lend anything more - they are functional shoes and nothing else.
