I like everything about that ensemble. Truth be told, I'm not huge on seersucker, but the dark chambray shirt and sockless dark brown loafers really make this stand apart from how seersucker is normally worn.

Thanks. I love the traditional seersucker look but it’s fun to do something different sometimes.

Pretty sure Derby pants necessitates shell, in keeping with the horse theme:

I look forward to days when Mr. OF seeks to be subtle.

BTW, I recently got this from the J. Press 4th of July sale. Prepare yourselves for more madras! I'm very curious to see if the purported resurgence in J. Press quality is more than just hype. The "Made in Canada" jackets are supposed to be more traditionally full fitting so after receiving measurements from a contact at their New York store I went with a 40R. It should be here the day after tomorrow. Anticipation!

“Subtle” is my middle name. I’m not comfortable in clothes with loud or aggressive patterns.

    Love your jacket!

How are all the lonely preppies here on SF? The Italians might lose their minds over the stuff posted in here.

To be fair, the Italians (or at least the Pitti crowd) would be wearing it with a suit, which I won’t touch. At least mine is thematically appropriate for the locale.

....at least, that’s what I tell myself :D
