A funny thing happened at my new tailor today. The woman working the customer service area asked me if I knew that there is a town in Mexico with the same name as my last name. I said that I did indeed know. Turns out her grandfather was born there and fought for my great-great uncle, Venustiano Carranza, during the Mexican Revolution. Small world.

CM you posted a pic recently without the big hair and giant glasses and IMO you looked hugely better - younger, sharper somehow. Right now your swirling thatch is approaching Bieber territory which Isolation used to get slaughtered for. I think you said you’d been in the army so maybe you’re just sick of getting buzzed on a weekly basis but I think it’s a good look for you especially as the hot Houston summer is about to hit!

Trad classics. Where are the pants from?

Vineyard Vines, as is the shirt. Rancourt CXL beefrolls, Narragansett Leathers hoofpick, Timex on NATO, and Persol 3028’s (unseen) to round it out.

The pants feel like pajamas, I feel like I’m getting away with something when I wear them lol

From yesterday. Seersucker trousers may not be the traditional choice to wear with boat shoes but sometimes you must do what you feel.

By the way, driving in Houston is soooo much better than Chicago. Y’all shouldn’t ever complain about traffic. And yeah, there are assholes on the road but in Chicago everyone is an asshole. You have to be if you want to get anywhere.
