I tried a search and couldn't really come up with anything.

Is it considered bad form to have anything in your money clip aside from bills? I would be carrying a Drivers License and two other cards at the most + a couple of bills of cash.

I have a "G" shaped Gucci 18K gold money clip for my Amex Centurion card and three $100 bills.

-> No problemo right here.

There are other threads on thin wallets or just wallets for cards. I don't use one, but money clips seem to be widely accepted on SF.

If you have a chance to be in London, Geo Trumper has an excellent sterling clip, simply adorned with English hallmarks for about #105. I bought one as a gift for a close friend, it's very similar to one that my wife gave me which I have used for about 15 years. DDM

Having money is so declasse' - although on the rare occasion I have a few stray pictures of dead presidents in my pocket (wife and children conspire to minimize those opportunities) a jumbo paperclip usually suffices.

I found that a rubber band works great. It fits multiple bills, credit cards, driver's license, etc. I especially like the wide purple rubber bands that come off the asparagus stalks.

An added bonus, the rubber band doesn't allow the wad to slide around or out your pocket so you never have to worry about losing it.

Plus, it's really classy. You pull that out when you are trying to impress someone, it's an immediate hit.

Once, I cashed a check for like $70. I slipped a note to the bank teller that read, "can I have a brick of singles and a twenty, please?". Sighing in relief (later I figured she probably thought this was a stick-up note), she smiled, nodded and complied.

In this situation, only a rubber band would do. I have got to try the asparagus ones.
