1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I assume you're laying aside all shoes in my size? The cheque is in the mail. Were it Vaclav, I'd say the Czech is in the mail.

Darn it Chris, you're a week late! I was actually in Atlanta last week, a short taxi ride away from acing out all these jokers on the forum.[IMG]

Seriously, it's great news and I look forward to Monday!

All's fair in love, war, and discounted English shoes. [IMG]

Chris, remember the folks who welcomed you so warmly to DC last April . . .

    Are these Grenson Masterpieces?

I don't see the Grenson Masterpieces at pediwear or other british sources. Do they still make them or will these be the new traditional line or featherweight line, both of which seem considerably less expensive.

If someone could point me to a site with the current masterpiece models I would love to check out in anticipation of next week.

    Thanks.

I just want one pair of bals, in brown, size 9.5. Surely that's not asking too much!

(And maybe a pair of bals in black ...)

I'd steer clear of teh brown bals in 9.5. I hear they are absolute dreck. Horribly made and they pinch your feet too.

Luckily I've been specially measured and given the Grenson non-pinching seal of approval. Anyone who hasn't had this done -- and it costs $650 -- should definitely stay away from the 9.5s lest they be permanently hobbled.

They are for the most part Masterpieces, there is no way to look them up on any site, for the M line is made exclusively for PS.....but BOY do they LOOK good, some nice styling, some a little more updated stuff as well as the traditional, it has been a tough morning sitting back in the stock room rubbing each and every pair as though it were my own baby, feeling the smooth channel stitched soles, caressing the impeccable calf skin as though I were giving each pair a personal massage. Maybe I should hold these.......ah what the heck, though I will work tirelessly for my bretheren of the SF all weekend, I will do my best to impress on all of you the wonderful world of Grenson. See you Monday, and please for my sanity, no phone calls this weekend, I will not sale any Grenson before it's time....have a stirringly good weekend as images of Grensons dance in your head, I hope you can sleep through the excitement.

Apparently quite a few. I'll be honing my put-item-in-the-basket-and-checkout technique this weekend.

Count me in the 9.5 crowd. But I think I may be able to resist. [IMG]

Same one, but hopefully less returns....the images and descriptions are going to be better this time, and most of us know now the size we need. By the way, M asked about you last night and asked me to tell you hi.

Are the shoes marked with U.S. sizes or U.K. sizes that you are converting to U.S. sizes?
