I love the color if the grand indigos, especially after seeing someone post the fading with a few months of wear. But since I prefer a slimmer fit I'm holding out for the collab with blue owl which is the 702 fabric in a slimmer cut.

Yes, the natural belt. Yeah, I think that is how they market the belt, but I am no longer a fan of the indigo on the belt. :plain:

Maybe I will paint some stripes on it and send it your way. ;)

HAHA - I would be lying if I said I hadn't considered getting one before. Waist size?

haha it's a 34, I think I should have gone with the kicking mule workshop belt. I believe it's darker and would not have started changing color. :/

Still not totally sure. I need to beat my old PBJs to death first for me to justify starting a new overdye in the rotation. I tend to only manage 2-3 pairs at a time, otherwise if feels like I'm not wearing anything enough.

Wut.....I was under the impression that both fits were the same and that only difference is the warp colour and the details (arcs, tabs, threads, pockets)

And el argentino aren't the wefts sulphur black?

The ER007-2B grand indigos have tabs and arcs not the 702 deep indigos

They are black. Just love the deeper color. Other little details like the selvage line made it a better choice for me over the Grand Indigo.

I meant to mention the indigo weave/weft as a comparison to a standard jean, liking that look more.

    black..... :paranoia:

unless I am mistaken they are a deep indigo, deep like my love for women. I am expecting them to fade to a nice indigo with great contrast. Can you explain weave/weft to me?

I know you have it out for APC but I like the color of some PS that I ordered last fall. I didn't keep them because le package was being compressed, can you recommend a pair that is similar to that color?

I don't "have it out" for APC, but rather the type of Men's Details/GQ style-noob who would immediately embrace APC because it's "the thing." That same person then begins every single question they pose on SF prefacing their APC and wanting something that fits the same.

I plan on eventually trying APC too, there's just so much more than that brand. GEEZ.

Black. Yes. A sulphur color. Indigo weave, sulphur weft. Sulphur is closest to black. Weave is cotton fibers going one way, visible from the surface of the jean. The weft is the cotton fibers at 90 degrees to the direction of the weave, seen from the underside of the jean, creating essentially a cross-hatch pattern where only one type is prominent on each side. When you cuff your normal denim, you notice the underside is lighter than the surface - this is because more of the white threads constituting the weft of "normal" denim are seen. When those weft fibers are indigo, you get what looks to be a solid, more saturated piece of denim.
