Well, Momo means peach. Taro means boy. Hence MomoOwl. The other names suggested don't make sense, with all the peachtalk involved.

Ohhh I didn't know it was a tie on the owl.. or a moon for that matter. I always thought it was a scythe of some sort ...

Tomorrow's post: an announcement that BlueOwl has closed, with the owner running off into the woods rambling about owls, peaches and internet folks.

Thanks for the reply about soaking your Grand Indigo Jay.

    Why did you regret it?

I would be very tempted to soak such stiff fabric to soften it
and help set the creases (and remove what little shrink there might be).

Anyone else have and thoughts or experience
of pre-soaking the deep/grande indigo momos?

This was my reasoning for soaking mine (0702), but I did not notice any shrinkage and they really didn't soften at all.

    soften fabric and set creases

would be the reasons i WOULDNT soak. why would i want to soften the fabric? thats part of the wearing process and creases set better when theyre stiff. shrinking would be the only reason and they dont even shrink much it seems

The stitching has started to give in the crotch of my 0702's.
Not super worn, the peach stitching has been slowly wearing.
Anybody have experience in the LA area with any of the denim stores?
    Prefer nothing super hipster.
Embarrassingly, I've only done mail order.

I regret soaking because I expected them to shrink more than they did. Now they have stretched a little more than I would like, but still OK. I wish I would have sized down and stretched them out rather than sizing the way I did and soaking to attempt to get the fit I wanted. Hope that makes since.

Soaking = Less Startch = Less Creasing

Phew, finally my 0701's fit how they should. Was kinda though, but I managed to stretch a pair that had a waist of 29 in raw condition, to about 29.5/30 after soaking them. I'm happy.

denim softens on wear. on the contrary, during break in process, i soak to bring back a bit of stiffness on the fabric__ soaking tightens up the weave & reactivates the residual starch still embedded in the yarns.
