Fuuuuuuucccckkkkkkkk got a pen-sized hole in the crotch. To repair and reinforce now or to just hold off until the hole gets big.... sigh...

In any case, fit pic to keep the thread alive

    Hey Guys,

Sorry for being MIA for awhile, I've had a lot of family problems lately and my mother passed away on Sunday :( Obviously I'm incredibly sad and heartbroken and haven't been interneting as much lately.

But I wanted to post a few pics (albeit cellphone pics) of my jawns and give you all an update. So here's my BOM003's at about 4 months of wear. What do you guys think??
I really like the pocketknife fade that's coming in in the coin pouch.

I'm going to get a friend with a nice camera to take some pictures for me so I'll have some nice high res pictures soon.

I'm disappointed with how often this seems to be plaguing these pairs. TBH, I haven't worn mine in weeks.

Is this hard? Like, I've read the thing on Rawrdenim about darning, seems easy enough but I never underestimate my ability to screw something up.

ETA: It might not have been rawrdenim since I couldn't find it. But its somewhere.

disinterest? If I'm going to have the crotch dissintegrate, I wear them more infrequently. Plus, I have a similar pair of PBJ xx009s that are well worn and faded, and have been more fun recently as my likes go through cycles.

Also, it's getting hot here - 85 yesterday.

You're disappointing me as you're one of the guys that got me into these 702's. [IMG] I've been wearing mine religiously almost every day and it was over 80 here today.

Calm down everyone :D These things are to be expected. Hence, the contest runs almost two years.

Not to start a communal dick-measuring contest through temperature, but I live in Arizona... so it was around 110 when I started wearing mine.

I too live in the desert southwest, regularly up into the 110s. I've done that for years and summers now. Just not wanting to now. That's all.

Sorry, El A, didn't mean to start this. I was just giving you a hard time. You have a right to do whatever you want. Damn it, wear shorts in hot weather, it only makes sense. I'm going on vacation in 2 weeks and I'm not taking any jeans, only shorts. But I still do plan on winning the contest! [IMG]

You assume too much, amigo. :)

No bother at all. Everyone's wear will be different. That's why the contest is so long > pushing it more into a "lifestyle" thing as opposed to "git dem sik fadezzzz, brah"

Breaking in my new PBJs at the moment. Still unsure if I'm happy with how I sized. A little tight around the knees/thighs. 2nd interview for a new job position tomorrow, hopefully they allow jeans in this office!

I had my Momotaro's tapered, that said, both are 32 in the wast, about 11-11.25 in the thighs, both have 7 inch leg openings.

Momo's rise is 9inches, PBJ's is 9.75. The knee on my Momotaro is 7.5 and on PBJ it's about 7.1 so I really need that part to stretch some, only problem area with them.

Oops should add the Momos are a 32 unsanforized hot soaked for 45 mins
PBJs are 30 raw version cold soaked for an hour.

Honest question, willrh1 - why do you want both your momotaro and pbj to fit so similarly? I would think that's the appeal of different cuts and brands in the first place.
