Something that could get this. I have hair that is similarly thick and wavy, and anything that could manage that hold with decent separation would be good for me. Not sure about most gel products, because of the crunchiness.

Two great products I'd recommend - KMS Molding Paste and Artec Texture Paste.

Pureology nanowax is really expensive but nicenicenice. To get that hair you'll need a good hair spray too.

http://www.gatsby.jp/products/debut/index.html Click on "Moving Rubber Series" Best Stuff Ever! I use their Spiky Edge Fiber and it is amazing what I can do with my hair, best part is I can adjust/move my hair mid day if I want to restyle it and the stuff doesnt flake or fall out.

talalpervez are you an Aussie? (based on the pic being from the age paper). there should be something in the American Crew range that would be suitable.

I can also vouch for the recommendation for gatsby products, if you can get your hands on it theres a great range of styling stuffs. I used the Power Fibre styling wax- great stuff and no residue.
