This is my second shirt from moderntailor. While it came out significantly better than the first, I was hoping that you guys could do what you do, and help me narrow in on some better measurements.

My first shirt catastrophe can be seen here.

I included the last picture because I picked up some chinos from Brooks Brothers, but after washing them, I am worried the inseam is too short. Does there look to be enough break?

Main thing I notice is that it's too baggy in the waist and shoulders could come in. I'd take some off the waist in your next order and add darts.

I don't bother with ModernTailor's darts though. Recently tried them out and were too subtle and too low. Just take it to your tailor to have it darted to fit your body.

I don't think the break is too bad.

I personally would want more break, but that's my personal opinion. It is well within acceptable standards though. In between no break and moderate break.

As for the shirt, its a hell of a lot better than most of these other guys. I'd keep it as is. It hides your belly pretty good. Unless you don't have one... then the waist is bad and needs to be slimmed down.

Well, I don't have a belly, so I guess I will take in the waist and hips on my dress shirts. I probably will decrease the shoulder measurements very slightly as well.

I have a couple specific questions too. First, there is a gap between the placket between the first and second button, is this because my collar measurement is too large? I know I won't be wearing the top button buttoned without a tie to hide this, but it would still be nice to correct the error.

Second, should you have to unbutton cuffs to fit your hand through them? I have to with these and prefer the way they look, but I have never had to do this before. It is likely I just have tiny wrist and have been buying ill fitting shirts.
