Modern Tailor Collar Options

There are several threads on Modern Tailor in this forum but I want this one to focus specifically on the collar options. Now we all know there are several different styles to choose from on their site but the problem is that the collars displayed sometimes end up looking different once they are on the actual shirt and it is being worn (also wearing a tie can change the look). So I'd like for all you members that have purchased shirts from MT to join in and post a picture of your shirt with the collar option clearly labeled.

Here are the guidelines: 2 pictures (one with tie, one without tie and top button undone) and the shot should be directly from the front and not at an angle.

Below is an example of a good picture I found on the net. The shirt is a Medium Cutaway collar from MT

Here are all the available collars. As you post pictures of your shirts with a particular collar option I will be editing this first post and adding that picture to the corresponding option below. Also remember that there are sub-categories such as Cutaway Small and Cut Away Medium. So if a small has been posted, you can still post a Medium.

Alright guys start submitting those pics! Hope this will help others (including myself) when deciding what collar to choose from

A complete newbie here, so please be gentle :)
Just received the MT trial shirt. I love club collars (when done right) so ordered the "round" collar.
It's far too long at the back and sides - the neckband is 2" and the collar itself 2.25" or so, and the collar extends down at the back and sides over the shoulders a bit. It looks more like a woman's Peter Pan collar than a club collar... I have a lovely shirt from Bromleys which has a 1.5" neckband and 1.75" back depth, and then gets bigger at the front and that looks fantastic in comparison. (And no, I don't work for Bromleys!)
MT do a "mini" round collar and I think that would have looked a lot better.

Anyhoo, the MT round collar with tape measure. TBH I don't want to show you it on as it just looks awful.

nephster,

I lol'd at your Peter Pan collar comment. Thanks for your input. Now I know you said the collar looks ugly but it would still be helpful if you posted a close-up shot of the collar (we don't have to see your face) so that others can decide whether or not they like it. Because measurements are helpful but most people are visual. Anyways, hope you decide to put one up and thanks for your feedback.

As requested :) One without tie, one with, and one from behind for good measure!

Thanks for the pics Nephster. I've added them to my original post. I forgot to mention that the pictures without the tie should have the collar buttons undone unless it's a collar that is clearly only designed to be worn with a tie.

alright guys, keep 'em coming.

They are doing me another shirt for the trial price with the mini round collar, so will report back in a few weeks when that arrives...

TThe mini round collar is MUCH nicer. A smidge too small for my tastes, but certainly wearable.

The smaller collar definitely needs a smaller tie knot.

wow, I ordered my Modern Tailor shirt before you had placed your order for the small round collar and I have yet to receive mine.

and thanks for the additional pictures, nephster

Edit: So I'm trying to edit my first post to add more pictures but the option to edit doesn't appear. Is there some sort of restriction that does not allow editing after a certain time interval? Please let me know how to add pictures to my first post.
