I’ve tried to put a photo on but failed miserably ??‍♂️, I just wondered if the “design “ type of loakes is the “ budget “ version of loakes or maybe the end of the line run?
From the Loake website. .

Design Loake
Design Loake was introduced to meet demand for traditional Loake craftsmanship with younger, more modern styling. Designed and engineered in Kettering, and made in a world class factory in India using high-grade materials and the same Goodyear Welted construction as in our Northamptonshire factory, these shoes combine classic patterns with an awareness of contemporary trends for a smart, up-to-date look.

Vintage new old stock Kings Rd four finger BD by Sears for sale on US ebay.
Works out to £27 delivered to the UK.
Too small for myself and my thick neck.

Prob too small for my neck too, seen old bennies with 40 inch chest but 14.5 inch necks, would have to wear it like thomas magnum for it to fit, seems to be the case with alot of old shirts.

The collar looks similar to a DNA GROOVE shirt, though the shirts Cladio sells with a 14.4" collar would have a chest measurement of around 36" and sleeves that don't flap around in the wind. .

Mickey Tenner: Rather a strange wee bloke, but he punched above his weight when it came to style and energy.

Here's forty-quidsworth:

By the way, I have a venue sorted out for the Scotland mini-launch. Unfortunately it's not a bookshop, but it's better than nothing, and they seem to like our 'working-class credentials'.
Well done @Man-of-Mystery !

I am working on the south end but nothing firm to report yet...

Did you ever meet him MoM, I believe that he now lives in Australia, there is a great clip on Youtube from RSG of him and some other lads dancing to Not Fade Away by the Stones even though the originals weren't supposed to rate them.
I seem to remember that they were wearing Harrington style jackets.

Some interesting footwear in those Scene photos.
Canvas lace-up deck shoes like No6 wore ?

Trainers of some sort ?

The guy in the monkey jacket has a very 'american' look going on there. I like it a lot.
