It really is bland as **** nowdays , almost anything cool has moved way way East .

Can't stand Shoreditch- Throw a bar of soap down Brick Lane and they'd run a mile.
It's not a patch on what it used to be but give me Portobello any day of the week

Looking at the turn ups on the jeans - inside and large - I'd say this was early 70s.

I went here yesterday - http://home.btconnect.com/twistedwheel/About_Us/about_us.html - and had a great early evening.

Only open from 3-8pm but fantastic music, loads of people of all ages tipping a nod to the fashions of the 60s and 70s and... six (6!!!) Jaegerbombs for £5 - I was in hog heaven.

For the interested :embar: wore my stone baracuta, *** selvedge jeans, a RL blue BD and beige Clarks dessies - and I was fairly elephant's trunk - but had a great time and I heartily recommend it.

Where did you find that, not that i don't believe you. its just that a lot of things on the internet have to be taken with a grain of salt.

I get what you're saying. I've been collecting pictures as of late and trying to verify them. I don't remember where I found the date and I'm trying to relocate it.

Yeah, its not always easy to verify pictures, that is why i take things with a grain of salt most of the time.

Speaking of crombies, the Adam of London ones have become my new favourites, this one i managed to get for 50 quid off ebay. Not the usual crombie colour, but the cut is lovely. reminds me of the crombie the newcastle skinhead was wearing, but it is a bit lighter.

I think a black one is definately going on the christmas list.

I have not posted anything for a long time. Here are a few more photos from my collection. The origin is probably the closed Internet platform "Friends Reunited". For information about a possible dating, please look to the filename.
