The Who ( as in the rock band , not the other one) are in the latest Uncut magazine with a lengthy interview with Townsend , threatening to finally finish the Lifehouse project. .

Hope I die before I gggggetttt old. But wasn’t who’s next “ partly lifehouse? I’ve got a feeling it’ll be a combination of “Who’s next, and Quadrophenia...with a new take, but trying to look at it from 50+ years perspective.

Some of the Lifehouse project did end up in Who's Next and maybe as may as 8 tracks on Quadrophenia , some on Odds and Sods and much on the cutting room floor . Townsend says he also has enough material for another album and l think the question is , does he do another new studio album or finally get Lifehouse out as , well , he aint getting any younger and it might be getting close to now or never for Lifehouse but who is doing rock opera these days. .if you pardon the pun. .
The last time l went to one of their gigs , it looked like the majority of the public had been born after Quadrophenia(the album) came out. .

Mojo magazine has an article on Steve Marriott this month with a CD.
Sad what happened to Stevie in the later years considering the talent that was there . I remember reading about Peter Frampton trying to help get Stevies life back together again , to little success . A life most likely ruined by drugs just like his old compatriot Moon , although granted Moon was a bit unhinged even without the drugs. .but what a drummer. .
