Modshopping blue check jacket I picked up for £10/$13.50.
Marked as a 44s, but I'm a 41/42s and it fits. Thought It'd need alterations when I bought it, but I lucked out for a change.

Never been into turn-ups, myself but you remind me of Wellers look around the time of Cafe Bleu

Is that the joint in Thailand or somewhere on the Far East? Did you get it direct from there or resale?
They sometimes have some decent looking kit for sale but I’ve never pulled the trigger - partly as I can’t be bothered with the chew on if there’s a problem with sizing etc.
Anyway good pic there, nice kit all around!

I think they are based in Thailand. I got mine used from a UK seller and I'm pretty sure it hasn't been altered previously as it's 'as new' (had to un-stitch the pockets), which means the sizing is different to standard Western measurements. Maybe their gear is of a more east-Asian cut.

Just ordered these Loake Perth in tan grain leather off eBay, £120, still £225 on most online retailers including John Simons.

Also came across these second hand Loake Wideboys, which looked kind of interesting but not for me anymore. They look early 70's suedehead.

Nice find today while thrifting. 1950s/early 60s L-2B flight jacket.
Needs the ribbing and zipper replaced but it's well worth it for the $28 I spent for it. Probably will still be able to resell for a pretty penny once it's been restored.
