1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I think that's one of the pictures out of the Gavin Watson Book. Early 80's.

    Could be wrong though.

That looks like Brenda a London skinheadgirl from the 80s in the long skirt. Defiantly revival.

According to your profile, we're about the same size. What size jacket did you order? If you have time, would you be able to post measurements?

I ordered the Medium (38 inch chest).

I'll have to get back to you on measurements, it's half 10 atm and I'm working every daylight hour tomorrow haha.

That's reasonable. I think I'll try my luck with the 38. Thanks for the info.

Ed..Theres quite a bit online about this match, including a brilliant report from a young United fan....also a bit of footage on Pathe news of that bloke in the check jumper getting led off by the police ( I think its him)...Pathe hooligans Cardiff ( its at the end after Spurs in Feyenoord ).
Did you go to the United matches in Bristol that season ? I was at the good Friday match at Eastville ( when it snowed ).
Funny looking at that lad wearing platform shoes to football,I always wore boots ( Martens or monkey) much more practical.
In the mid week before the Cardiff v United game Cardiff played at Bristol City in the league cup,140 arrested ( mainly Cardiff ) out of an 8000 crowd !,the level of violence and disorder in the early 70s is quite difficult to believe now.

With the slightly tenuous link of Christmas 1969 and in the spirit of goodwill to all men, here are a couple of Santas (and helpers) that at least roytonboy and Ed should recognise ... Happy Christmas all
