1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

You just brought back a memory. Somewhere near Lewisham there was a club which in about 1970 had live Country & Western acts. Myself and some mates went there for a drink and just because it was something different to do. A guy got up and sang 'Wandering Star', and we added our voices, good and loud, at one particular point of the song. Our part is in bold, below:

... Home is made for coming from
    For dreams of going to,
Which with any luck will never come true...

    GOR-BLI-MEY!
    I was born under...

Yes It was Terry that took the photo's. and we all come from Borehamwood. they must have spent about a week with us on and off. they also went with us to Spurs on a Saturday and took photos there of us. There are lots more photos of us four and many Borehamwood skinheads. His Daughter Cara has them.

Alleged to have held Robert Stigwood out of a window by his ankles when Stigwood tried to take over managing The Small Faces ...

I've seen this before but don't know if it's been posted. (Apologies if a re-post.)

I admit I had a couple of fairly sedate 'South Sea Bubble' crew necks - but did see a few very bad versions back then, too.

The above example would certainly fall into the latter camp - IMHO. :slayer:

Agreed, Ed. My recollection of South Sea versions was of more pastel shades. PS' version's a demented Battenberg by comparison.

What i know about Art elwood ,you could write on the back of a postage stamp ! I just happen to know Mondrian (specifically this work) as his work has been plundered and plagerised by so many over the years and has been seen in everything from 60's fashion to furniture.
