Thanks for your reply Pressure_Drop.I joined U.K.Skinheads about the time of your Book, coming out.I would well imagine that some Skins were reluctant to you tell of some of the Activities, they got up to.With my Age Group(19 in `69),there were other things that we got up to other than the Aggro etc.- I have written about this, earlier in the Thread. It is only now(on some of the Mod Forums)do your read of some of the "Activities" that went on then.

Well, I never found flower-arranging, topiary, morris-dancing, stamp-collecting and/or girl-guiding anything to be ashamed of... but perhaps I led a sheltered life. :satisfied:

Hi, I'm the second from front. Terry Spencer the photographer and a driver took us up london to take photos for Life magazine. they was doing an article about skinheads in Britain. the way we lived and dressed and what we got up to as skinheads. the article ended up in Time magazine.

Thanks for putting the history behind such a famous photo, Its interesting that you was bussed in from outside London, is your photo connected to the Terry Spencer Photo of Borehamwood Skinheads?
Where did you and your mates come from? :)

I think it did. Now I can sit back and let the others do all the 'work'. Which is good as my own proper work is becoming very intrusive just at the moment. No time to play the Boulevardier ....

Well the version I've got on Tighten Up Vol 3 (the one with the poster :embar: which my mum was disgusted with) was by G.G. All Stars.
