I remember buying a pair of burgundy Sta Prest from a great shop in Leeds called Class about 79/80, and taking them home for my mum to take up for our school Xmas disco in Wakefield. I wanted them that night and so she was under pressure, she had cut the excess off one leg, when the doorbell rang, she answered it came back and cut the same off the same leg. My trousers have a vague chemical smell but it's not due to any manufacturing process!I remember Levi Sta-Prest having a vague chemical smell, do these have that or am I imagining it?
That's a beauty.I saw Fred Perry ad for this jacket.
I've owned one in same style since mid 90s I think. Don't know how old it is, but checked label and it's not made in England but made in USA
They look smart big yin , nice leather good sole for the winter and l believe the 1880 models are still entirely made in England . Do they have a bell tongue. .A new buy, something a bit different, but still in keeping with the look I think.
