Now I half remember my mum ironing a second crease. A deliberate style statement, honest...
I remember buying a pair of burgundy Sta Prest from a great shop in Leeds called Class about 79/80, and taking them home for my mum to take up for our school Xmas disco in Wakefield. I wanted them that night and so she was under pressure, she had cut the excess off one leg, when the doorbell rang, she answered it came back and cut the same off the same leg. They got relegated to wearing with high tops.

I saw Fred Perry ad for this jacket.
I've owned one in same style since mid 90s I think. Don't know how old it is, but checked label and it's not made in England but made in USA
That's a beauty.

cheers Inkss. The new reissue is crazy money. I assumed mine was made in UK.. I didn't know some FP stuff was made in USA tbh.. I don't know how big the market is out there

Cheers Saint, no they don't have a bellows tongue, but I don't intend to wear them for "Hiking" as their name suggests. I just wanted something that I could wear casually in the winter, that would look ok with Levi's and chino's. They are still made in England, but today that doesn't mean much, apart from supporting a small handful of skilled craftspersons.
