    I always thought Bruce was reliably more stylish than Weller. He was my teenage style icon and the reason I took up playing the bass. The mullet was of course ill advised but it’s toned down these days and aside from that unfortunate choice his barnet has looked a far sight cooler than Weller in the last couple of decades. Weller often looks like he just hacked his fringe off without a mirror.

    I used to play the drums in bands. But I can’t say I tried to copy “Bucklers Barnet” at any point.
    Although today I think we share similar hair-less styles.

    Bucklers Barnet has a couple of nice pubs and a farmer's market on tuesdays.
