I just googled 'French Teddy Boys' on account of Clouseau's anecdote in 'The Look Goes On' Thread and discovered this movie about French teenagers trying to get off with English girls. Looks like a French take on Meatballs or Caddy Shack with Teddy Boys. Resonates with what has been discussed on here regarding French teenagers.

Yeah this comedy is a late 70s classic, very caricatural of course and with all the clichés you could expect. Quite funny if i remember well, but from a french point of view of course, ahem.

Came across this gem the other day. Deadstock oxford cloth, box pleat and locker loop, but no third collar button. Did Ben, Brutus, or Jaytex ever use this collar shape?

It's a bit like the mint green shirt I had in this picture - pity you can hardly see it - the collar was longer than on my BS shirts, more like a buttoned spearpoint. I can't remember what make it was. I think I bought it at some boutique or other, never looked at the make, just liked the style.

MoM- you've probably mentioned this before, but where was this photo taken?
Judging by the background Im guessing Stones free concert at Hyde Park.

I'm on the mobile at the moment. I believe the label says Career Club. John Simons shops used to sell this make and I had a couple in early 1970. They were then highly sought after and seeing that label really takes me back. A great find mate.

That's exactly where it was. I was sitting with a young hippy I didn't know from Adam, and a middle-aged ordinary couple who were having a picnic.
