its good to know this is actually a brand and not people mistyping mjk...

I have seen mjolk several times and literally thought it was a typo.

Purest Cut have a few 08 items left at deep discount. I believe they will be stocking 09.

Price points are normally similar to NDG, but in AUD... ~40% cheaper.

The cuts on these seem somewhat clownish, but in a good way. I love the bagginess/freeness of it and to me it seems like the kind of collection aimed at young playful guys who are that little bit eccentric/qwerky. My favourite is this double breasted jacket that looks nothing like a traditional double breasted jacket. [IMG]

Besides Winn Perry and Gargyle in the US, Purest Cut in Aus., and the occasional find on rakuten, are there any other online stockists ? I know of bespoke boutique but they don't actually have any items, just a 'coming soon' that been there forever.

chrono, how much did their pants cost you?

Retail, they're $255-300. On sale you can find them for about $150, which i think is good price for the quality/fit/design

I'm talking about ones from their collection from f/w08 (things are screwy because they're australian based and seasons are different there). Mine are called "Ted Trousers", for what it's worth.

The offbeat cuts are kind of fresh and just about on the edge of wearable. The opening 2 or 3 looks were my favourites, followed by the cape-like coat. The collection is obviously well thought out - the quirky conservative aesthetic is clear and doesn't jump around trying to pander to many trends or different tastes, integrating a classic like spectator shoes without a hint of incongruity. It's not quite as wholly unique as I'm making it sound - it reminds me a bit of COS, Lanvin x Acne and b Store - totally Euro, unsurprisingly, what with their Nordic roots - but the details seem engaging enough to allow the brand to hold its own

Current fans - how's the construction and quality?
