Mister Freedom "Road Champ" Engineer boots
Size 10
Used, but excellent condition
Original Box included
These are hands down the nicest boots I've ever worn. I bought them directly from Mister Freedom in LA - I'm the original owner of the boots and have the original vintage inspired box. John from MF told me these were from the first run (they have the Mister Freedom stamp on the inner part of the upper shaft, which apparently didn't appear in later runs). but this slightly confuses me since I thought the first run was essentially black whereas these are a rich, dark brown. Either way, super nice. I actually handled three pairs of Road Champs (had to reject a pair for sizing and another for a manufacturing flaw) but when these finally came they were, and still are, perfect. The pics tell the story best (they are ordered funny but keep scrolling, I took lots of photos).
The boots were made by Julian.
The reason I'm selling (I'm selling with reluctance and already suffering from separation anxiety ) is that I have very high arches and wide front feet and the Road Champs have never been very comfortable for me to wear. I have not read or heard this to be a common complaint for this boot - I think it's just my misfortune that the last isn't the best match for my high-maintenance feet.
Purchased new, these will run you about a grand after tax. I believe the current run is the final run for these boots, so there isn't like a million (or even a thousand) of these boots made.
