Where: Blvd St. Antoine, 3e arrondissement of Paris, in front of Lenôtre.

When: Thursday, 8 April at around 17h15.

Me: purple sportcoat with charcoal pants, a light blue tie, orange PS, and white FC shirt. Carrying a solid stick umbrella in black and a green/brown Lina's shopping bag. Cantankerous expression on face from over-long workday and overwhelming need to ****.

You: curly hair, round tortoiseshell-framed glasses, extremely cinched glen plaid sport coat with LOUD colourful tie and pocket square jumping out of your chest pocket. Can't remember the rest. Looked like a Frenchman trying to imitate how he imagines Englishmen dress.

It was obvious from the first moment I saw you that you were a purebred iGent. Became even more so when, in passing me, you tilted your head coyishly to the side and smiled with a nod. Assuming this wasn't just a gay pass at me, I interpret it as the equivalent of a Men's Clothing secret handshake. Wanted to say something but the situation was too surreal for me to react in time.

Post in this thread if it was you! I'm not sure why, though.

I kind of gave up on these Missed Connection-type websites. IME, you never find the person you're looking for anyway. :\\

It wasn't me: I do the SF "shoe circle point" when I see a likely forum member.

Is SF Casual Encounters the next logical progression from here?

Hey I remember you...

THAT WAS ME!

I assure you it was entirely a pass at you and I hope we can get together and poke our sticks into the rabbit hole sometime.

This must happen all the time in NY and DC. In fact, I think Connemara-watching is the capital region's new weekend pastime. Lucky members will have a chance to spot his pink cashmere plumage just in time for Spring.

in all seriousness and all gay jokes aside, did he have a nice ass?

I was in far too much shock from seeing another member of our endangered species in the wild that I didn't have the presence of mind to turn around and do a double-take.

Some sort of universal signal would be helpful. Come Hither looks aren't exactly unambiguous.

Can you describe what this looks like?

There is a minimum height restriction of 2" cuffs to post in that forum.

Was it a terrifying thrill for you too? I felt like I'd run into a fellow freemason or something. Then I felt inexplicably very exposed.
