Mismatched blazer buttons?

I love my BB Regent blazer, but its gilt buttons sometimes make me feel just a bit like a pretender among the yacht club set. More important, all my other metals -- watches, tie bars, belt buckles, etc. -- are silver, and so my blazer's buttons clash with them a bit. For that reason, I've been thinking about swapping out the gilt buttons for silver ones. And since I've long been a satisfied BB customer, I'd like the new buttons to have the BB logo on them.

I told my sad tale to BB via email and asked if it would be possible to order a set of silver logo buttons like the ones they use on their Fitz blazer. They replied in less than half a day, saying, "Send us your address and we'll send you the buttons." No mention of price. I sent them my address and less than half a day later they replied, saying, "Your buttons have been shipped." I could not have been happier.

And then they arrived:

These are not the buttons that go with the Fitz blazer, and I'm not even sure they're a matched set. I'm obviously not in a position to complain, as I did not pay for them, but I'm not exactly sure what to do with them, either.

All three of the large buttons (I only need two) are like the one pictured here. They're coated with something that looks kind of powderish but that doesn't come off. All but one of the smaller buttons (they sent me an extra one of those, too) are the bronze color of the two shown here at left.

Do you think this is a mismatched set, or could there be that wide a range of color variation for this particular metal and finish?

I vote for mismatched set. On the upper right one, the curves and loops in the ribbon are slightly different from those on the two darker buttons.
